Apzem downdraft Fume Extractor table are designed to use as a table to assist in welding & Grinding and to capture and filter hazardous fumes and dusts generated during grinding and welding. Our entire downdraft fume extractor table are made of heavy gauge steel and equipped with grid top, spark arrester, mesh filter & cartridge filter to effectively capture sparks, dusts and fumes. Apzem also custom design, manufacture and supply wet type fume extraction table in case of combustion dust application. Fume extraction hoods and downdraft tables are highly effective at removing hazardous fumes and dusts generated by welding, grinding, polishing and other applications. Contaminants in the air are drawn away from the welder’s breathing area. Downdraft tables are used when you need a self-contained welding and grinding station. Apzem downdraft tables extract fumes through the back wall away from the welder and also catch sparks.

These negative-pressure systems are designed to eliminate costly exhaust systems, reduce energy losses, and aid in employee protection by capturing pollutants at the source of emission. Most histological solvents and reagents produce vapors that are heavier than air. Standard fume hoods disperse these potentially harmful vapors past the user. This uniquely designed fume extractor draws fumes down into the unit and exhausts pure, breathable air through an activated charcoal filter. It is completely ductless and does not require any special installation. No enveloping hood or draft makes it more comfortable than standard hoods. An easy to-operate dial controls the speed of the centrifugal fan. An activated carbon filter is enclosed in a separate drawer for quick replacement.

Proper filtration selection is critical to ensure operator safety from potentially harmful odors, vapors and airborne particulate. Pre Filter:

TThe particulate pre-filter is an electrostatically charged fiber filter which effectively removes submicron particulates. It is designed to protect the adsorption filter from contaminants such as smoke, acid mists, and other submicron particulates. All units are initially supplied with a pre-filter.

Activated Carbon Filters:

Activated carbon filters consist of high-grade coconut shell carbon. The steam activated nutshell provides a large surface area and an extensive internal pore structure for a high degree of adsorbency.

Multiple Application Filters:

These filters are designed to remove a wide variety of contaminants. They are multi-layered filters according to general use or customized for special applications. For removing both chemical vapors and fine particulates, there is a special two-stage filter consisting of activated carbon (A/C) and HEPA.

HEPA Filters:

High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters are available in various configurations for the containment of particles. The filter has a 99.997% efficiency rating for collecting 0.3 micron particles.

ULPA Filters:

Ultra Low Particulate Air (ULPA) Filters are available in various configurations for the containment of particles. This filter has a 99.999% efficiency rating for collecting 0.125 micron particles.
